Job Title: Product Manager (Fintech)

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Product Manager to spearhead the end-to-end development and scaling of Fintech products that help Nigerians save smarter and achieve financial goals—starting with rent, then auto, homes, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap.
• Conduct market & user research to identify customer needs in financial planning and rent management.
• Develop detailed product specs, user stories, and mock-ups, collaborating closely with engineering & design teams.
• Prioritize features by balancing user impact, business objectives, technical risk, and resource constraints.
• Drive agile product sprints: lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Launch new features through research-backed go-to-market plans with marketing and growth teams.
• Track and analyze KPIs: user acquisition, active user rate, product adoption, savings volume, loan conversion, NPS.
• Collaborate with data, marketing, finance, and compliance teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor Fintech trends and guide the Company’s roadmap with insights on competitive offerings and emerging tech.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Business, CS).
• An MBA or a postgraduate degree is preferred but not essential.
• 3+ years of product management experience in Fintech, especially savings, payments, or credit.
• Strong understanding of user-centric design and agile methodologies.
• Proven success in measuring product performance (e.g., MAU, retention rate, ARR).
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for financial inclusion and solving complex problems in emerging markets.
• Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations and digital payment infrastructure a plus (e.g., mobile money, APIs).
• Experience launching mobile-first financial products aimed at low-/middle-income consumers.
• Experience in defining products end-to-end on the Microsoft stack (backend: .NET, Node), mobile apps, and web platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, etc.).
