The Client is a Media and Advertising Agency with operations spread across South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana.
We seek applications for the position of DTP to support our rapidly expanding advertising operations.
Job Title: DTP / FA Artists
Location: Lagos
Responsibility
The primary responsibility of this position is to finish and touch up all graphic design jobs according to Clients specifications, for visual communications media.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Create artwork according to clients requirement i.e. touch up/ resize/ Amend/ FA
- Produce artwork & assist in printing & finishing work from start to finish
- 7 to 10 years experience in a similar position
- Strong background in design
- Work long hours and meet deadlines are both a must
- Experience with Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, PowerPoint and other relevant programs
- Working knowledge of colour separation & printing and desktop publishing
- Ability to manage a project from concept through production, in multiple media
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Good working attitude and good communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with Art Director, account executives and possibly even the client to move the projects from concept to completion
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Strong leadership–able to lead teams in brainstorming and concept development
