About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TG/Boiler DCS Engineer to join our technical operations team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Turbo Generators (TG), Boilers, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient power and steam generation within our mining facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Boiler and TG units through the DCS to maintain optimum performance.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance of TG/Boiler systems and DCS hardware.
• Troubleshoot issues related to power generation, steam systems, and control loops.
• Analyze performance data and optimize equipment for maximum efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure uptime and compliance.
• Maintain logs, reports, and records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and health policies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive measures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and upgrade recommendations for DCS systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in operating TG/Boiler systems and DCS in a heavy industrial or mining environment.
• In-depth knowledge of modern DCS platforms (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, or Yokogawa).
• Strong understanding of thermal power generation principles and industrial steam systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (ISO, OSHA, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in Power Plant Operations or DCS systems.
• Experience in a mining or mineral processing environment.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency monitoring tools and predictive maintenance systems.
