Lecturer I (Vocational and Technical Education) at Federal Polytechnic, Monguno

The Federal Polytechnic Monguno is one of the two (2) new Federal Polytechnic of higher learning institutions established by the federal Government alongside Wannune in Benue State. The Polytechnic was created on the 5th January, 2021 vide a letter DHE/POLY/39/C.1/1/77. Federal Polytechnic Monguno was located in Monguno local government area of Borno State, the temporary site located along Maiduguri-Monguno road. A little away from the Monguno Community, the permanent site of the Polytechnic is still under construction. Monguno town is about 133 Kilometers away from Maiduguri city. The people mostly farmers and fishermen, the coordinate of the area is (12° 14′0′′N: 13° 36′0′′ E). The Staff Strength of the Polytechnic as at 2024 is Two-hundred and thirty-six (232) both Academic and Non-Academic Staff.

Requirements

• A candidate possessing relevant Master's Degree plus at least twelve years teaching/research or industrial work experience and four journals accepted for publication plus five conference/seminar papers or a Doctorate Degree in relevant discipline plus three years teaching/research or industrial work experience plus two journal publications and three conference/seminar papers.
• Demonstrate ability to initiate and supervise research project. Registered with recognised professional body.

• All applicants must possess the required academic and professional qualifications for their desired positions.
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory.
• Applicants must be proficient in the use of ICT.
