La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is focused on presenting African hospitality and culture in a cosmopolitan manner. The resort boasts of a clean beach, lagoon and mangrove forest that provide visitors with the opportunity to observe, at close quarters, a wide variety of tropical Flora and fauna that include snake trees, mangroves, various species of epiphytes, monkeys, squirrels, bats, and various species of birds such as kingfishers, sea hawks, egrets and ducks.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Resort Cashier

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented, friendly, and reliable Cashier to manage all financial transactions efficiently and enhance our guests’ experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process guest payments for resort services, including room stays, dining, spa services, excursions, and retail purchases.
  • Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment efficiently.
  • Provide guests with receipts, process refunds, and manage guest account charges.
  • Maintain balanced cash drawers and accurate transaction records
  • Address any concerns or issues regarding billing, transactions, or charges.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest transactions, ensuring all charges are properly logged into the system.
  • Assist guests with checking out by explaining charges and offering assistance with additional services.
  • Work closely with other resort departments such as the front desk, restaurant, spa, and housekeeping to ensure smooth communication and accurate billing.
  • Assist with tracking payments for special packages, promotions, or group reservations.

Requirements

  • OND, HND, BSc in Hospitality or Accounting.
  • At least two years of experience as a cashier, in retail, or in hospitality space.
  • Age: Mustnot be more than 30 years old.
  • Experience in a resort or hotel setting is a plus.
  • Friendly, approachable, and guest-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in busy or challenging situations.
  • Strong work ethic and reliable team player.
  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Energetic, trustworthy, and able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
