Job Summary

  • We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and passionate Research Officer with a background in Anatomy or Physiotherapy to join our innovation team in Lagos.
  • As a Research Officer, you will contribute to ongoing R&D projects focused on improving prosthetic designs, patient outcomes, and biomechanical integration.
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clinical research, data analysis, and product development in a real-world Healthtech setting.

Job Description

  • Supporting research on human anatomy and movement relevant to prosthetic development
  • Assisting in clinical trials and user testing of new prosthetic devices
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting biomechanical and rehabilitative data
  • Collaborating with engineers, prosthetists, and physiotherapists to refine product features
  • Preparing reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Anatomy, Physiotherapy, Prosthetics, Biomedical Science, or a related field
  • Completion of NYSC
  • Residency in Lagos is mandatory
  • Previous experience or interest in prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation, or medical devices will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated interest in academic or clinical research is highly desirable

Skill Set:

  • Strong foundation in human anatomy, biomechanics, or rehabilitation science
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills (statistics knowledge is a plus)
  • Passionate about scientific research and problem-solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic research tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
