Job Description

• Teach undergraduate courses, prepare lecture materials, assess students, supervise research, and engage in scholarly and departmental activities.

Requirements

• Academic Qualification:
  • Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in the specific subject field of education.
  • Alternatively, a Master's Degree in the relevant subject area plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
  • Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), or its equivalent is acceptable.
• Teaching Experience:
  • Candidates must have taught courses at the tertiary education level for at least 5 years in the relevant subject area.
• Publications:
  • Candidates must have at least 3 publications, with two (2) of these in learned journals.

Remuneration

• Salary: COMPCASS/CET-5.
• Conditions of Service: All appointments are as applicable in the College Conditions and Schemes of Service and the Abia State Public Service.
