Job Title: Junior Project Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilties

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
  • Team Management: Build and lead project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Communication and Coordination: Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including school administration, faculty, staff, and external vendors. Facilitate regular project status meetings, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor project risks and take appropriate actions to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and track expenditures. Ensure optimal utilization of resources and identify cost-saving opportunities where possible.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards for project deliverables and monitor adherence to those standards. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests. Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders and senior management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders and manage their expectations. Seek feedback, address concerns, and ensure their involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Change Management: Assess the impact of changes to project scope, timelines, or resources. Implement change management processes to minimize disruption and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify lessons learned from completed projects and implement process improvements for future projects. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into project management approaches.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's / Master's Degree in any relevant field.
