We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Ora Lagos.
  • This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, handling payroll, ensuring tax compliance, managing cash flow, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including income, expenses, sales, and payroll
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and cash flow statements
  • Monitor budgets and spending to ensure financial efficiency
  • Process and manage payroll for all staff and ensure timely payment
  • Handle daily reconciliations of POS, cash, and bank transactions
  • Monitor inventory spending and supplier payments
  • File statutory payments such as PAYE, VAT, pension, and other government obligations
  • Work closely with management to provide insight on financial performance
  • Recommend and implement cost-saving measures
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Maintain and organize accounting documents and records for future reference

  • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
  • Compliance with tax and statutory obligations
  • Payroll accuracy and timeliness
  • Budget adherence and cost control
  • Efficiency in reconciliations and record keeping

Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and payroll regulations
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
