Job Title: Financial Control Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• As a Financial Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, monitoring budget performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor and manage the bank’s budget performance, providing variance analysis and cost control insights.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), tax regulations, and microfinance banking regulations.
• Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Financial Control and must demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Salary
N150,000 monthly
