Job Summary

• As a Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all core banking services and daily operations of the bank, ensuring the smooth running of tellering, cash management, funds transfer, treasury operations, and customer service functions, in line with regulatory requirements and the bank’s operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily branch operations including tellering, cash management, funds transfer, and treasury activities.
• Ensure all banking services are delivered efficiently and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and support operations staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and enhance productivity.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, balancing vaults and tills to ensure liquidity at all times.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in banking operations, preferably within a microfinance or retail banking environment.
• Postgraduate degree and/or professional qualifications (e.g., CIBN, ICAN) will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Salary
N500,000 - N600,000 monthly.
