Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate Specialist to join our dynamic consulting firm.
• The ideal candidate must have experience in tax advisory and compliance services within a consulting or professional services environment.
• This role requires a certified tax professional who can confidently manage client portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic tax planning support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services to clients across various industries.
• Prepare and review corporate, personal, and indirect tax returns.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Assist in tax planning and structuring for individuals and businesses.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Conduct research on tax issues and changes in tax legislation.
• Support audits and respond to tax queries from clients and authorities.
• Prepare and present tax reports, projections, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments and external consultants as necessary.
• Maintain updated knowledge of local and international tax developments.

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification is mandatory (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CITN).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in a consulting or tax advisory firm.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and client portfolios effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software.
