Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor with 7+ years of proven expertise in auditing, risk management, and compliance.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee internal audits across departments to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement audit plans, programs, and testing methodologies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based audit strategies.
• Monitor and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal processes and controls.
• Stay updated on emerging risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA are an added advantage).
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in internal auditing or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office tools.
