Job Title: Telesales Team Lead

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are looking for a results-driven Telesales Team Lead to manage and grow a high-performing telesales team for SCALE.
  • This role will oversee outbound calling campaigns, lead conversion, customer engagement, and sales reporting to ensure targets are consistently met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
Telesales Strategy & Execution:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of telesales agents to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Develop call scripts, sales pitches, and conversion strategies tailored to our VAS offerings.
  • Monitor call quality and provide real-time feedback to improve sales effectiveness.

Lead Management & Conversion:

  • Oversee the qualification and nurturing of inbound and outbound leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and field sales teams to optimize lead pipelines.
  • Track conversion rates and identify opportunities for improvement.

Performance Management:

  • Set and track KPIs including call volumes, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
  • Organize regular training sessions to improve team sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews and team huddles to maintain motivation and alignment.

Customer Engagement:

  • Ensure that customer interactions are value-driven, consultative, and aligned with Renda’s brand.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationship standards during and after the sales process.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues during onboarding or activation.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Generate and present weekly performance reports to management.
  • Provide insights on customer preferences, objections, and product feedback.
  • Contribute to quarterly sales forecasting and planning.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in telesales or inside sales, with 1 - 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and drive consistent performance.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and team management skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools and telephony systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, CloudTalk).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Experience in logistics, mobility, or technology-based service sales is an added advantage.
