Learning Objectives
Through this Nursing Internship program, Nurse interns should learn to:
- Consolidate and build on the theoretical knowledge you gained during your undergraduate year and learn to apply it in caring for patients.
- Develop the clinical, technical, personal, and professional skills that form the basis of nursing practice.
- Take increasing responsibility for patient care, as experience and understanding allow.
- Work within the ethical and legal framework taught at Nursing schools.
- Explore personal career goals and expectations.
- Provide nursing care under the supervision of preceptors in clinical areas, with the guidance of unit members
- Seek guidance and feedback from experienced healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- BNSC/RN, RM, RPHN or its equivalent.
- Induction Certificate
- Nurse Intern License.
