Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Ajah, Lagos  (Promixity to location)

Reports To: Outlet Manager

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a proactive and reliable Assistant Manager to support daily operations in our fast food restaurant.
  • The Assistant Manager will help oversee staff performance, customer satisfaction, inventory, and compliance with operational standards. This role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Outlet Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
  • Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and hygiene standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and attendance management.
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining and kitchen environment.
  • Support sales goals through upselling and promotions.
  • Generate and submit reports on sales, expenses, staff performance.
  • Stand in for the Outlet Manager when needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a fast food or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
