Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time / Onsite
Work Mode: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (Required to work outside normal hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed)

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations for our manufacturing plant.
• This role will ensure the optimal performance of machinery, tools, and equipment, minimize downtime, and maintain high safety, quality, and production standards.
• The ideal candidate will lead a skilled team of engineers and technicians, manage budgets, and drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day and long-term maintenance planning for all plant machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure zero downtime through effective preventive, predictive, and curative maintenance programs.
• Oversee the introduction, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and cost control.
• Implement maintenance SOPs and monitor KPIs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, machine operation standards, and company policies.
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff through coaching, performance reviews, and skills training.
• Participate in capital projects and equipment investment planning.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (B.Sc./HND) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant professional certifications and membership in recognized engineering bodies.
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, spare parts management, and CAPEX budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Salary
N650,000 Monthly (based on experience).
