The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) in Ebonyi State was among the nine new Universities established by the Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's administration in February, 2011. It is located at Ndufu Alike in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, which is about 25 kilometres from Abakaliki, the State Capital.

The University is deeply committed towards realizing its dream for a world-class status where learning, research and innovations are the order of the day. Her philosophy is strictly guided by the desire to raise problem solvers for the nation through the production of highly skilled and motivated graduates. This informed her decision to recruit carefully selected and competent lecturers with commendable pedigree and international flavor in varying academic disciplines to ensure that the students are given the best attention and proper guidance throughout their stay in AE-FUNAI.

Requirements

• Candidate possessing any of the following or equivalent qualification:
  • A Degree in Economics Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Educational Management with bias in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics or Development Planning as a subject from a recognized University.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Planning or Economic Development or Project Preparation from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Evidence of NYSC discharge certificate, Exemption or Exclusion letter.
