Job Summary
- The Vendor Relationship Manage r/ Specialist will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and onboarding high-quality vendors across repairs, spare parts, and CNG services.
- The role ensures that all vendors meet operational, quality, and compliance requirements while building long-term partnerships that enhance service delivery and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute vendor acquisition strategies aligned with operational and growth objectives.
- Research, evaluate, and shortlist potential vendors across target geographies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to achieve competitive and sustainable terms.
- Oversee vendor onboarding processes, ensuring proper training on company systems, workflows, and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against agreed KPIs, addressing gaps proactively.
- Resolve vendor-related issues promptly to ensure service continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of approved vendors, including compliance and regulatory documentation.
- Build and nurture trust-based partnerships with vendors to secure preferential terms and foster long-term collaboration.
Success Metrics
- Number and quality of vendors successfully onboarded
- Vendor compliance rate with operational and contractual requirements
- Service level performance improvements from vendors
- Cost savings achieved through negotiations and strategic sourcing
- Vendor retention and satisfaction rates
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in vendor management, procurement, or supplier relations within the automotive, transport, or service industries.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendor categories simultaneously.
- Familiarity with fleet maintenance, automotive spare parts supply chains, and/or CNG operations.
- Proficiency in vendor management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
