Job Title: ITF - NECA Technical Skill Development

Job Description
The Industrial Training Fund(ITF) and the Nigerian Employers' Consultative Association (NECA), in colloboration with Nigerian Breweries PLC, wish to admit qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive 6 - 9months training programme on Technical Skills Development in the following areas:
  • Basic Mechanical Maintenance
  • Pump Operation, Alignment & Maintenance, Packaging Machine Operation
  • Basic Automation & Process Instrumentation
  • Process Technological Control
  • Hands on Training(Attachment)
    With the following objectives:

    1. To train and equip youths with self or employable skills in the vocational arears above
    2. To promote a Public-Private Sector Model in Vocational/Technical Skills Training and contribute to capacity development.

    Job Requirements
    Candidates must possess NABTEB?WAEC TECH. /C&G Certificate with passes in English Language, Mathematics and threee other related subjects in the following trades: Mechanical & Engineering Craft, Electrical & Installation Maintenance, Welding & Fabrication, Instrumentation, Radio & TV Installation & Maintenance.

    Age Limit
    Applicants should not be above 22 years as at time of application.

    Shortlisted applicants will go through a selection exercise(Aptitude test, oral interview, and medical examination). Candidates will arrange their own transportation, accommodation and feeding during the exercise.

    Job Remuneration
    Successful candidates will enjoy free tuition and lunch. It is a non- residential training at the Technical Learning Centre, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Ibadan.

    Trainees will be paid a monthly allowance to cover their cost of transportation and out-of- pocket expenses for the duration of training. They will receive hands-on training at any Nigerian Breweries location in Lagos, Aba, Kaduna, Ibadan and Enugu.

    Although this programme does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the Trainee, successful graduands from this scheme may be considered for employment based on available vacancies.
