We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Services)

Location:
Lagos

Role, Objective & Context
  • To support the General Manager while assuming responsibility for the achievement of the set Sales target.
  • Proficiency in marketing concepts and practices, sales target definition, sales analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Accountable for the delivery of new business opportunities and new clients across varied products and service lines.
  • Delivery of new businesses from clients across varied functional areas, geographical regions (outside Lagos) and market segments.
  • Drive an increase in exposure and visibility for the organisation
  • Responsible for revenue-generation by sourcing for new clients and contracts.
  • Create an operational plan for strategic sales and marketing, driving organisational vision.
  • Create a strong online presence for the business.
Requisite Skills:
  • Sales & Marketing - ability to convert marketing plans to sales.
  • Strong Networking & Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong Communication and Influencing skills - clear, concise, and persuasive in style.
  • Good writing skills
  • Experienced with working on the internet and social media
  • Good blogger, experienced with working on the internet and social media
  • Good communication skills, English grammar & writing skills
  • Knowledge of website management in terms of brand management
  • Energized by an entrepreneurial environment - not afraid to suggest and defend good ideas. Takes initiative and follows-through on commitments to achieve results.
Qualifications
  • A relevant first Degree, MBA or its equivalent (added advantage), 7+ years industry experience in Sales & Marketing.
