Job Title: IT Security Analyst

Job Description

• We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Security Analyst to join our team.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability management, patch lifecycle, security automation, third-party risk management, and incident response.
• This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach to improving our overall security posture.

Responsibilities
Vulnerability Management:

• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Prioritize and close critical/high-risk vulnerabilities within acceptable timelines.
• Produce detailed reports and recommend process improvements.

Patch Management (Windows & Linux):

• Oversee patch deployment across endpoints, servers, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot patching issues in collaboration with system owners and support teams.
• Maintain compliance dashboards and escalate non-compliance issues.

Security Automation (SOAR) & Incident Response:

• Support the management of SOAR workflows and playbooks.
• Participate in incident triage, investigations, and response activities.
• Assist with threat intelligence enrichment and automation initiatives.

Third-Party Risk Management:

• Conduct security assessments for vendors and partners.
• Support due diligence, documentation, and continuous monitoring of third-party risks.

Software Security Reviews:

• Work with IT and application teams to assess new/existing software for risks.
• Ensure compliance with internal software security policies and standards.

Security Awareness & Operations Support:

• Assist in planning and delivering security awareness initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and escalate security events/logs (EDR, SIEM, SOAR, etc.).
• Provide hands-on support for security projects and continuous improvements.

Project & Implementation Support:

• Collaborate with IT/security teams in deploying new tools and solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation, testing, and training for deployed systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT security, vulnerability management, or security operations.
• Practical knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7, SecPod), patch management, and SOAR/SIEM platforms.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
• Experience with vendor risk assessments and software security review is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills.
