Job Title: Video Production Editor

Location: Lagos

The Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality video content that effectively communicates our brand message and engages our target audience.
• You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to bring ideas to life through visually appealing and compelling videos.
• This role requires a strong creative vision, technical proficiency in video editing software, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with the company’s objectives.
• Ensure that videos are visually appealing, technically sound, and consistent with the company’s brand guidelines.
• Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an organized media library for easy retrieval and future use.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video production and editing.
• Participate in video shoots and provide input on lighting, sound, and other technical aspects to ensure high-quality footage.

What We Are Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in any field. Training in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a Video Production Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques for various platforms.
• Strong knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in video production and editing.
