Job Title: Service Engineers, Electrical & Automation
Location: Nigeria
Position Description
- Independently execute Field Service activities mainly on electrical and electronic components.
- Identify failures, making adjustments, assist on trial runs and testing of electrical installations according to instructions.
- Provide field service/survey assistance as directed.
- Check and adjust relevant systems (i.e. auxiliary, propulsion…).
- Provide internal and external work reports according to Wärtsilä standards.
- Supervise the tasks performed by Wärtsilä employees and subcontractors.
- Perform precommissioning of Wärtsilä installations.
- Promote Wärtsilä Products and Services.
- Collect and organise time and expense reports. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required.
- Participate in technical discussions/communications with customers and other internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical/PLc works and subcontractors at site.
- Manage commissioning and handingover procedures.
- Perform startups and testing of installed equipment and document the results.
- Maintain good customer relation and ensure quality and cost effeciency of installations.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and handle technical discussions and communication with the product companies.
- Participate in office work as required and perform field service work as directed.
