IITA is an international non-profit agricultural research-for-development (R4D) organization established in 1967, governed by a Board of Trustees, and a member of the CGIAR Consortium. Our R4D approach is anchored on the development needs of the tropics. Job Title: Laboratory Attendant, Field Worker II

Duties
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Assist in field and screen house planting for regeneration and virus indexing;
- Assist in herbicide and insecticide application;
- Assist in data collection on characterization for screen house and field regeneration and multiplication activities;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification, Experience and Skills
Qualification:
- O’ Level with minimum of two (2) years working experience in a similar role.
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in inventory updating and seed bank activities.
- Must be computer literate
- Have good sense of cleanliness, safety and security precautions
