Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
- Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, observing control points and equipment used in production.
- Take full responsibility in terms of management of production, quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
- Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance and general issues.
- Ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all machine operators.
- Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the production process.
- Maintain high level of timekeeping in the production plan in order to achieve set targets and customers order.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provides production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Monitor the activities of the machine operators and the factory workers to see that production procedures are well followed and that factory ethics are not broken.
- Ensure company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
Requirements
- A first degree in a science related field
- 2-3 years post-graduate experience in a factory environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Analytical and mathematical minds
Remuneration
N60,000-N70,000
