Job Title: CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT WITH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
Location: Abuja
Roles and Responsibilities
- Liaising with Management and Client and providing financial information and advice;
- Reviewing financial systems and analysing risk;
- Performing tests to check financial information and systems;
- Advising on tax planning (within current legislation minimisation of tax liability) and tax issues associated with various activities;
- Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information for clients;
- Advising on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions (corporate finance);
- Advising on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency;
- Detecting and preventing fraud;
Qualification and Skills
- Minimum BSc Accounting
- ICAN/ACCA Certified
- General business interest and awareness;
- Self-motivation and commitment
- Communication and interpersonal skills;
- Organisational and time management skills;
- Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft packages;
- Strong analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills;
- Leadership qualities and effective team working skills;
