A reputable NGO in Nigeria, is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate for the position below for a new NGO capacity building program (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH):
Job Title: Accountant (Compliance, FCT)
Location: Abuja
Job Descriptions
- The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring sub-grantee NGO compliance with budgets, procurement policies, project guidelines and contractual financial obligations.
- S/he will review expenditure requests of sub-grantee NGOs; review for compliance; produce reports; and coordinate with the Director, Grants and Finance Management.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a university Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with 2-5 years work experience carrying out similar functions with NGOs in development funded programs.
- Possession of Chartered Accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
- The ideal candidate must also have excellent computer skills and competence in using accounting software. This is a full-time position.
