Job Title: Inventory & Procurement Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Procuremet Officer to manage stock control, procurement processes and vendor relationships to ensure smooth supermarket operations

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track stock levels across departments.
• Conduct regular stock counts, variance analysis, and implement shrinkage control measures.
• Manage the procurement cycle' request, evaluate , and process supplier orders.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality supply and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and timely deliveries.
• Maintain proper documentation of stock receipts, transfers, adjustments and purchase records.
• Work closely with Supermarket manager to align inventory with sales trends.
• Provide accurate weekly and monthly reports on stock status, procurement and vendor performance.

Requirements

• BA / B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in inventory management and procurement within Retail, Supermarkets or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Inventory/procurement management systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
