We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy below:
Job Title: Premises Technician
Location: Adamawa
Main Responsibilities
- Performs repairs and maintenance on the premises including plumbing, carpentry, electricity, mechanic, and welding
- Monitors premises service suppliers in case of an external intervention in ICRC premises.
- Checks regularly critical points on premises including electricity, safety, passive security (walls, gates, lights) water circulation, sewage, and reports to Administrator and/or logistician for swift correction
- Performs and follows up regular reading and recharging of electric meters and of water and any other meter where it applies
- Performs purchases related to premises (tools, consumables, small equipment, services) under supervision of the logistician
Required Qualifications
- Secondary School or Equivalent
- Similar work experience desirable
- Good physical condition
- Good command of English
