Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver all lessons using school-provided resources and materials
  • Mark and return assigned pupil work promptly and professionally
  • Conduct assessments in line with school policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organised and stimulating classroom environment
  • Provide constructive written feedback in pupils’ books to support progress

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Female applicants only
  • Must currently reside in Ibadan, within reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
  • A B.Ed. in Primary Education Studies or a B.Sc/BA with a PGDE from a recognised institution
  • A minimum of 3 years’ post-graduation experience teaching in a structured international school environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in classroom management and the effective delivery of core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science), with the ability to teach a broad range of primary curriculum subjects to a high standard
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
  • Ability to adopt the school’s handwriting scheme and maintain legible, model handwriting
  • Excellent command of English in both spoken and written communication
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to create and maintain high-quality classroom displays
  • High expectations for pupil behaviour, academic progress, and overall attainment
  • Sound knowledge of learner tracking, assessment, and feedback methodologies
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding protocols within educational settings
  • Commitment to adopting and implementing best practices in teaching
  • Willingness to use only school-provided lesson materials (personal schemes or resources are not permitted).

Salary
N100,000 Monthly.
