Principal Assistant Registrar at Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB)

The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) was established by an Executive Act of the Federal Government in April, 2023. It is a specialized University located in Bassambiri in the Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. It was created by the Federal Government as part of its mandate to have a University of Agriculture in each of the six geo-political zones of the country. FUAB links teaching and research to the Niger Delta’s rich agricultural and marine resources. Academic activities commence in the 2025/2026 session with a student-centred, hands-on learning model aligned to NUC standards.

Requirements

• A Degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of second class lower division.
• Computer literacy and possession of SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O’ Level credits in five (5) subjects including English Language are required, plus at least twelve (12) years post qualification experience in the public sector preferably in Higher Educational Institutions (Computer literacy is required).
• Membership of a Professional Body (e.g. Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM) will be an added advantage.
