We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Executive
Location: Lagos
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Procurement and handling of the purchasing needs of the company.
- Examine business trends and markets and attempt to get the greatest value
- Manages the data base of the merchants
- To assist the Procurement manager to monitor the performance of suppliers and to ensure contractual obligation are adhered to
- To ascertain the availability of Products from Merchant.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Develop leads and execute procurement strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from any reputable institution.
- 2 years working experience in any related field.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be analytical, strategic and thoughtful with an ability to make recommendations and influence outcomes
- Relationship Management
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work without supervision
- Proficient in data analysis and Excel
- Negotiation skills
Salary
N75,000 to N100,000 Monthly.
