The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, is one of the new universities established by the Federal Government in 2011 to ameliorate the problem of access to tertiary education in Nigeria, especially in States lacking Federal University presence. The rationale for establishing the Federal University Oye-Ekiti includes, among others, responsive approach to global academic expectations and excellence; access to quality education; and, to inculcate an attitude for lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a PhD or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years University teaching experience as Lecturer I/Librarian I in addition to admissible publications totaling not less than forty-five (45), Citation not less than 10 and Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal.
• Must score three (3) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility.
• Must score three (3) points in Community Service
• Candidate must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies with minimum number of publications not less than nine (9).
• Must be visible on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation not less than 10.

Salary Grade
CONUASS 5.
