The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, is one of the new universities established by the Federal Government in 2011 to ameliorate the problem of access to tertiary education in Nigeria, especially in States lacking Federal University presence. The rationale for establishing the Federal University Oye-Ekiti includes, among others, responsive approach to global academic expectations and excellence; access to quality education; and, to inculcate an attitude for lifelong learning.

Requirements

• A holder of PhD or equivalent qualification recognized by Federal University Oye-Ekiti. Has been Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Librarian in the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, or any other University for three years; in addition to admissible publication totaling not less than Fifteen (15) points for M.Sc. and Ten (10) points for Ph.D.
• Citation not less than two (2) Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal.
• A holder of MBBS/DVM, B. Eng. plus COREN, M.Sc. Agric, M. Tech. M. Eng. Staff in Clinical Department who has passed the part I Fellowship without prejudice to the basic requirement should be qualified.
• Must be visible on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation not less than 2.
