Nigerian Oil and Gas Services Company is looking to fill some vacancies on some upcoming construction and installation projects. We are looking for technically proficient, highly motivated and adaptable individuals, who can work within a team structure and deliver results set by the Management and project team.
Job Title: Business Development Manager (USG009)
Location: Warri, Port Harcourt and Lagos
Duties
- Responsible for identifying business opportunities that, match the Corporate Strategy of the company, evaluating tenders and forwarding recommendation and solutions to management.
- Develop new business relations and present Company to potential and new customers.
- Actively manage client’s relationships and represent Company at events, conferences and tradeshows.
- Ensure that the Company remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients.
- Ability to work side by side with the customer to understand their business objectives and deliver performance targets through effective relationship management.
- Establish a proactive communication style in line with client requirements.
- Ability to influence and share vision at all organisational levels with strong negotiating and networking skills.
- Excellent customer service relationship builder with a passion for providing first class customer service.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor degree in any field with a minimum of 6 years experience in a similar role in the oil and Gas industry, with at least 3 years in a senior supervisory position
- Strong communication skills (strong writing and grammar skills).
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite applications.
- Ability to prepare and make technical reports and presentation.
- Working knowledge of industry’s standards and practices
- Masters degree in Business Administration would be a strong added advantage.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is essential as a primary point of contact with the client and an integrated team member working alongside other members of the team.
