We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales channels, partnerships, and distribution opportunities, including B2B and B2C segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share for both fresh produce and processed products (juice, salads, and vegetables)
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform product and sales strategies.
  • Lead and manage the sales and business development team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare periodic sales and business reports for management.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement in sales processes and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing preferably within agribusiness, FMCG, or food processing/manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
