We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper and Inventory Officer

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Reports to: Logistics or Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary

• The Store Keeper and Inventory is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods in the factory's warehouse.
• They ensure that all materials are properly stored, handled, and tracked to meet production demands and minimize losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock levels, receipts, and issues.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Issue materials to production teams as needed, ensuring that the correct materials are provided.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock levels or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production planning to ensure that materials are available for production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage and track inventory of materials, components, and finished goods.
• Ensure accurate labeling and identification of inventory items.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize storage space.
• Provide reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an FSLC / HND / OND qualification
• 2 - 5 years experience in inventory management or store keeping in a manufacturing or construction industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking inventory.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and handle materials.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management software.
