Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Iyin-Ekiti, Ekiti
Department: Safety Unit

Responsibilities

• The Chief Security Officer is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for security of the campus.
• He must also be able to provide the University Administration with regular security briefs, information and advice for appropriate use.
• Applicants for this position must be those with clear vision, proven track records and professional ability and distinction in either private or government establishments.
• In addition, they must have a clear knowledge of the structure and terrain of University environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• The candidate must be a graduate of a recognized University (specialty in Psychology or Criminology will be an advantage) with 18 years cognate experience in security related jobs, four (4) of which must have been in Campus Security.
• The candidate may be an Ex-Senior Police Officer, not below the rank of a Chief Superintendent of Police or its equivalent from the Armed Forces.

Salary Grade
CONTISS 12.
