Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will have experience in credit analysis, loan underwriting, and financial risk assessment, with a proven ability to make informed credit decisions while maintaining portfolio quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and assess borrower credit worthiness through financial and risk analysis.
• Approve, reject, or recommend modifications to loan requests in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain up-to-date customer records.
• Monitor loan performance, follow up on repayments, and support collections on delinquent accounts.
• Communicate with clients and relationship managers to gather information and explain credit terms.
• Collaborate with risk and collections teams to maintain portfolio quality.
• Prepare reports on loan decisions, portfolio performance, and emerging risks.

Person Specification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan underwriting practices.
• Familiarity with credit bureaus, credit scoring, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• High level of accuracy, ethics, and commitment to compliance.

Salary
N2,400,000 / Annum.
