We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ISP Supervisor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Reports to: ISP Manager / Technical Project Lead

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented ISP Supervisor to oversee aerial FTTH customer installations for our customer fiber deployment project in Ibadan.
  • The ideal candidate will supervise field teams, ensure quality installations, enforce safety standards, and guarantee that all customer connections are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily customer drop installations (mainly aerial) and in-home setups.
  • Guide installation technicians in routing drop cables, installing ONTs/routers, and signal testing.
  • Ensure adherence to GVA standards for safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Verify installation completion with visual checks, power readings, and documentation.
  • Provide technical support to teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution on-site.
  • Ensure technicians are equipped with proper tools and materials for each job.
  • Monitor technician performance and report daily progress to the ISP Manager.
  • Handle client feedback and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.
  • Enforce use of PPE and best practices during aerial works (ladder safety, electrical awareness).
  • Keep updated records of work done, routes used, and customers connected.

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in FTTH installation (especially aerial).
  • Strong knowledge of GPON architecture, ONT setup, and fiber signal testing.
  • Field supervision experience with ability to manage multiple teams and tasks.
  • Familiar with tools such as ladders, fusion splicers, power meters, and test kits.
  • Good problem-solving skills and basic reporting abilities (Excel, WhatsApp, Forms).
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic field environment.
  • Familiarity with the Ibadan area is a plus.
