Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. Requirements

• Minimum qualification is a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline OR a Master’s degree with at least three (3) years of university teaching/research experience plus evidence of scholarly output (minimum two (2) journal publication).
• Alternatively, candidates who have served a minimum of two (2) years as an Assistant Lecturer with satisfactory teaching and research evidence may be considered.
• Professional registration where applicable, is an added advantage.
