Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. Requirements

• A candidate for Engineer II should possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or equivalent in the relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) with a minimum grade of Second Class Lower Division.
• This entry-level professional engineering position requires completion of mandatory national service (NYSC) and essential computer literacy (including CAD software).
• Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) or equivalent (or being in progress) is a key requirement.
• A postgraduate diploma in a specialized engineering area would be an added advantage.
