Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. Requirements

• A candidate for Library Officer I should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade of Second Class Lower Division in Library and Information Science, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Library and Information Science with a minimum of Upper Credit.
• If holding a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of Three (3) years of experience is required; if holding an HND, a minimum of Five (5) years of experience in library operations, cataloging, or reference services is necessary.
• Computer literacy with library software is essential.
• Certification in database management would be an added advantage.
