Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. The university’s motto is “Advancing Knowledge, Conserving Nature.” FUET aims to be a “centre of excellence” focused on environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and responding to environmental challenges through research and education.

Requirements

• A candidate for Pharmacist I must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
• Essential qualifications include full registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) or equivalent, a current practicing license, and completion of mandatory national service (NYSC), along with a minimum of Three (3) years of post-registration experience.
• Computer literacy is essential. A postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or related fields would be an added advantage
