Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma / Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. Requirements

• Candidates must hold a Ph.D Degree in the appropriate discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of university teaching and research experience, a good record of publications (minimum twelve (12) peer‑reviewed scholarly works out of which five (5) must be from foreign indexed journal), and evidence of postgraduate supervision and administrative contribution.
• Candidates should normally have served at Lecturer I level for a minimum period of two years (where applicable) and demonstrate impact in teaching, research and community engagement.
