Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma / Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. The university’s motto is “Advancing Knowledge, Conserving Nature.” FUET aims to be a “centre of excellence” focused on environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and responding to environmental challenges through research and education.

Requirements

• A candidate for Porter should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WASC/GCE O’level) or equivalent basic education.
• This entry-level position requires physical fitness and good communication skills.
• While not mandatory, some experience in a service role is preferred.
• Basic security awareness training would be an added advantage.
