Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. The university’s motto is “Advancing Knowledge, Conserving Nature.” FUET aims to be a “centre of excellence” focused on environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and responding to environmental challenges through research and education.

Requirements

• A candidate for Technical Officer in Building field should possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit, or an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with a minimum of Upper Credit, in the relevant engineering or technical field. If holding an HND, a minimum of Three (3) years of post-qualification practical experience is required; if holding an OND, a minimum of Five (5) years of post-qualification practical experience is necessary.
• This role also requires a Trade Test Certificate Grade I or II in the specialized area and essential computer literacy with relevant technical software.
• Professional certification in the specific technical field would be an added advantage.
