Federal University Gashua (FUGashua) is a university based in Yobe State, northeastern Nigeria. It is a learning and research institution that seeks to solve the immediate needs of society and give every person the opportunity to acquire knowledge. In its Education Sector reform and development, the Federal Government of Nigeria, in 2010, approved the establishment of twelve (12) universities in the six geopolitical zones of the country. This was to expand access to tertiary education for Nigerians.

Requirements

• Candidates should be a Ph.D. Degree holder in the relevant discipline with three years university teaching experience or 2 years, with sufficient number of admissible publications, totaling a minimum of 3 journal articles and 2 edited proceedings.
• Candidates should be a Master's Degree holder with 6 years university teaching experience and has sufficient number of admissible publications totaling at least 3 journal articles and 3 edited proceedings.

General Requirements:

• Application is open to all eligible Nigerian citizens from the ages of 18 to 50 and are required to possess appropriate qualifications and competencies.
• NYSC discharge/exemption certificate and ICT proficiency are required for all senior positions.
