We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Plumber

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Inspecting: Plumbers inspect plumbing systems for issues and potential violations of building codes.They use specialized tools like pressure gauges and video cameras to identify leaks and other issues.
• Diagnosing: Plumbers diagnose the cause of plumbing issues and determine the best way to fix them.
• Repairing: Plumber’s repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning plumbing equipment.They may also clear obstructions from drains and toilets.
• Installing: Plumbers install pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
• Maintaining: Plumbers perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Collaborating: Plumbers collaborate with other contractors, such as electricians, construction workers, and pipefitters.
• Estimating costs: Plumbers prepare and make market finding of cost of needed equipment for the hotel.
• Monitoring and observing of water system: Plumbers are meant to monitor and watch over all water pumping system for both hot water and cold water. This is to ensure the rooms are never short of the needed water at any point.
• Team Work: Work as a team with other technician in the maintenance department ensure all facilities in the hotel are working optimally.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Technical School
• Proven experience as a plumber
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
